THANKSGIVING 2007

We had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. Had a great turnout and and eveyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Was great to have Mindy and her family with us this year and as always, it was good seeing Shelia again. Randy & Debra Lamar and their son, Jason was able to be with us this year also. It's always good to have some new "attendees". As usual, everyone ate toomuch and most of us tried to work it off the next day on our big shopping trip.

Sorry that everyone couldn't be there, but maybe next year we will do it again. Now I guess we will be anxiously awaiting Christmas, when those grand-kids, will once again, bless us with a visit. CAN'T HARLDY WAIT!!!!!

"OLD" UNCLE TOM CELEBRATES ANOTHER BIRTHDAY. I THINK HE REALLY ENJOYED THE DAY. SEVERAL OF US GATHERED TOGETHER TO CELEBRATE WITH HIM. I'M NOT GOING TO SAY HOW MANY BIRTHDAYS HE HAS HAD, BUT IT'S SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 74 AND 76. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME AND LOOK FORWARD TO CELEBRATING MANY MORE WITH MY "OLD" BROTHER-IN-LAW.

SUMMER OF 2007

As summer draws to a close, the children are all getting ready to start back to school, the vacations are over!!! BUT, as we look back over the past few months, we have built some very precious memories. The summer of 2007 has been great, highlighted by the birth of our new grandson, Kian, born July 31st.

Judy and I feel we have been blessed with the time we have had with each of our children and grandchildren. There have been some wonderful times that, hopefully, have been written in each of our hearts and minds. We appreciate the time we have spent with each of them and now begin to look forward to the holidays when, once again, we will be able to spend some time together. When that time comes, I will be posting some information about that.

One of the times I am looking forward to is Thanksgiving, when most of our family, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as some close friends will all get together to acknowledge all we have to be thankful for, hope everyone can make it.

Thanks for coming by our blogpage and spending some time with us--

WILD BOAR HUNT

I have posted some pictures of a Wild Hog Hunt, two of our sons recently went on. As you can see, they had some success with this venture.

I was somewhat surprised to learn they were going to hunt these mean little critters with a "BOW". Now I don't know about all of you, but if I'm going to hunt a wild boar, I want to hunt him with something that shoots a LOOOOONG way, and a bow just doesn't seem to fit that discription! I am afraid I would only make him mad and he may want to get even.

BUT, none the less, they did bring home the prize. I have no idea what they plan to do with him now that they have him. Maybe we could make some "Wild Boar Hair" paint brushes???

Hoe you all enjoy the photos.

Memorial Day '07

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Two of our sons and their families were home, we did a "LOT" of eating and visiting, of course what made it so great was the grand-children.

We played a round of golf, Tommy and I would have probably won, but we had to cut the game short because of darkness!!!!! I think it to be disrespectful for two of your sons to come home to visit, eat off your table, one of them sleep in your bed and then, go out and beat you and one of your old "slick headed" brothers at golf. If anyone agrees with this theory, please let me know. If we get enough support, I think we will be able to change the rules for the next holiday golf outing.

But all in all, it was a great time. As you can see from the photos we posted (I hope they come through), we spent time just relaxing and enjoying one another's company.

Clyde & Judy

This page was created so we can share our family with others. We are very proud of our children and grand-children especially the grand-children, and we want to keep other family and friends up on how everyone in the Clyde 7 Judy Jacques family is doing.
